Are K. Roosevelt and Amir Obe working on a joint project? Weeks after teaming up for “Lost and Found,” the two alternative R&B artists return with a new song called “Ghost.”
Over a layered bassline instrumental, Roosevelt and Obe sing about their fractured relationships that have them wanting to calling it quits. Their detached feelings on making an exit is heard in the texture of their lax vocals.
“Ghost” is Roosevelt’s third track of 2019. Back in August, he broke his music silence with his single “Slow.” It was the first song released since his departing from Def Jam and signing to RoseGold Records.
Roosevelt is working on his follow-up to his self-titled album, which was released in July 2018.
On the production front, Roosevelt has contributed to two major albums this year, including Rapsody’s Eve (“MAYA”) and Mahalia’s Love and Compromise (“Good Company”).
