Robin Thicke’s heart is full of love this era. The R&B crooner treats his fans to a new feel-good jam titled “When You Love Somebody.”
The Harmony Samuels-produced track finds Thicke convincing his love interest that he is more than ready to take things to the next level.
“You make me feel like a fireside, summertime / Where every day is Friday or Saturday night Pool party, moonlight, Chardonnay / Make us feel some type of way / You know I really want this night to last forever, swee-dee-dee Yeah, yeah / So take a chance with me and I’ll give you something re-re-real,” he sings in the second verse.
“When You Love Somebody” is the follow-up to “That’s What Love Can Do,” which was released in March. In June, the tender tune reached No. 1 on urban adult contemporary radio. In December 2018, Thicke broke his musical silence with “Testify.”
On October 17, Thicke will join Fantasia’s Sketchbook Tour as a special guest, along with Tank and The Bonfyre.
He is expected to release his eighth studio album soon via Thicke Music/EMPIRE.
