Moments after debuting her new single “Show Me Love” featuring Miguel, Alicia Keys unlocks the accompanying video.
Described as a “visual sonic installation,” the Cara Stricker-directed clip features cameos from actress Zoe Saldana, her husband Marco Perego Saldana and actor Michael B. Jordan.
Keys explained the concept of her beautiful visual in an Instagram post.
“The many different experiences of love: self love, love with another, love from creating, spiritual love. The push, the pull, the struggle, the joy, the eventual peace….💜✨💜 ‘Show Me Love’ is my visual sonic expression of that journey,” she wrote.
“Show Me Love” is the second song Keys has released in 2019 so far. In February, she released “Raise a Man”the day before Valentine’s Day.
On March 31, 2020, Keys will release her memoir More Myself via Oprah Winfrey’s An Oprah Book imprint and Macmillan’s Flatiron Books.
