Alicia Keys is receiving a whole lot of love on urban AC radio this era.
Her newest single “Show Me Love,” a sultry duet featuring Miguel, has reached top 10 status on the traditional R&B airplay format this week.
Mediabase reports the Morgan Matthews co-produced track has garnered over 7.75 million listener impressions at 87 monitored stations, since its debut a month ago.
The recent chart news is a major win for Keys. Her last big hit on urban AC radio was Here’s “In Common,” which peaked in the top five in 2016. Later that year, the multi-Grammy winner scored another top 10 victory for “Blended Family (What You Do for Love).”
Keys is quietly working on her seventh studio album. The follow-up to 2016’s Here could include her previously-released single “Raise a Man,” which arrived digitally everywhere on Valentine’s Day.
In addition to new music, Keys has more items on her agenda, including her upcoming headlining performance for TIDAL X Rock The Vote. The benefit concert is set to take place on October 21 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
On March 31, 2020, Keys will release her memoir More Myself via Oprah Winfrey’s An Oprah Book imprint and Macmillan’s Flatiron Books.
