Majid Jordan make fans dance in the key of love with their newest single “Superstar.”
An obvious top 40 move, this dreamy tune finds the duo’s vocalist Majid skillfully delivering a tale about living the lavish life with his baby by his side every step of the way.
Speaking on the sound of the new record, the duo’s producer Jordan said, “‘Superstar’ is going to bring our fans back to the classic Majid Jordan wave, but this time it’s set in a different galaxy. I made sure to keep the energy high from start to finish.”
Majid added, “Everybody has a superstar in their life. We wanted to celebrate that. This song is a late-night dance party that you can share with that special someone.”
“Superstar” follows Majid Jordan’s Khalid-assisted track “Caught Up,” which was released in July. Back in 2018, the alt-R&B duo dropped off two standalone tracks: “All Over You” and “Spirit.”
Majid Jordan are currently working on their follow-up to 2017’s The Space Between.
