As first-week sales continue to grow for Summer Walker’s Over It album, the low-key singer drops a music video for the Bryson Tiller-assisted version of “Playing Games.”
The Christine Yuan-directed visual begins with Walker lying innocently on the couch of her penthouse, singing the seductive slow jam. The camera angle soon shifts, and the focus is turned to a tied-up lover hanging from the ceiling.
As the video progresses, Walker is on guard with her emotions, causing close-call torture to different suitors. Her musical guest Bryson Tiller isn’t seen in the video, but his vocals are heard.
The video for “Playing Games” comes days after news broke that her debut album is expected to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 next week. According to sales forecast reports, the LP is on track to push 112,000-125,000 equivalent album units, with 11,000-15,000 in pure sales.
Walker is set to embark on a nationwide tour to support her Over It album with Melii as a special guest. The first show is on October 26. Tickets are available now.
