We could be getting new music from The-Dream soon. The Grammy-winning producer/songwriter/artist went on his Instagram to tease his next body of work, The Nikki Project.
In a post, The-Dream shared the nine-song track list, along with a snippet of a song from the project.
“Nikki……………………………… Sometimes Time is Right on Time, don’t Force time, Don’t tell Time what to Do, you can’t rush it you must Trust Time to Do what it does and the Truth will be seen in Light and in Darkness,” he wrote in a caption.
The-Dream introduced his fans to “Nikki” in 2007 on his first album, Love/Hate. Then, he referenced the mysterious character on his Love King album in 2010 (“Nikki Part 2”).
There is also a song called “Nikki’s Dialogue” on his latest album, Ménage à Trois: Sextape Vol. 1, 2, 3.
There is no release date set for The Nikki Project at this time.
