Now boarding. Emerging sing-songwriter Kalin White is taking fans on a trip with the release of his latest EP Flight 1023.
The 12-track project sees White at his most vulnerable. The Oakland native airs out his biggest insecurities on fan-favorite tracks such as “Friendless” and the Arin Ray-assisted “Routine.”
On the former, White discusses having loyalty tested by those around him, singing, “People treat you how you let ’em / They gon’ try to use you but forgive ’em / I’ll be friendless, friendless, friendless / Before I let ’em takin’ advantage, yeah yeah.”
“To my fans I f**king love you… you keep me going forreal,” White wrote on Instagram. “You give me life. You make my dreams reality. You give me hope when I wake up in the morning and have anxiety and feel depressed. You make me smile. Please dream with me forever…Thank you for accepting me and loving me for who I am.”
Flight 1023 is White’s latest release since his single “Motions” dropped back in 2018. White released his last project Would You Still Be There? in 2018.
