Miguel makes a return with his new song “Funeral.”
“Send my regards to the mother and father / ‘Cause somebody’s daughter I just fucking slayed / Blood on the carpet, it came from my heart / Once I start, I can’t stop it, and now we all pray,” he sings on the chorus.
“Funeral” is the title track to Miguel’s upcoming EP that will release this winter via ByStorm Entertainment/RCA Records.
Speaking on his upcoming EP, Miguel said, “I’m releasing more music all the way into the new year but ‘Funeral’ is the perfect song to get it started. I’ve been exploring darker tones and themes for some time, this song what the imagination for what’s to come.”
Funeral will follow Miguel’s 2017 LP, War & Leisure. Earlier this year, the album became certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.
