The Essence Festival of Culture continues to get bigger.
The concert lineup has been announced. Music icon Janet Jackson and Pop/R&B sensation Bruno Mars are billed as the headliners. It will be Jackson’s third time performing at the event. She performed there in 2018 and in 2010.
Other mainstage performers will include Patti LaBelle, Janelle Monae, Summer Walker, Ari Lennox, Raphael Saadiq and Swizz Beats, plus an all-star Reggae x Afrobeats curation led by Estelle and featuring Afro B, Chronixx, Elephant Man, Kranium, Max Glazer, Maxi Priest and Shenseea.
This year’s Superlounge lineup includes Stokley, SiR, June’s Diary, Kiana Lede, Jamesdavis, Masego, Tank and the Bangas, Teamarrr, Umi and more.
Essence Festival will be held from July 1 through July 5 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. For more information about Essence Festival, visit essence.com.
