After reportedly splitting from his wife, Ne-Yo links up with rapper O.T. Genasis for his new track called “Pinky Ring.”
Over a hard-hitting production, Ne-Yo professes he is a single man now and is not looking back.
“She gave back the wedding ring, I turned to a pinky ring / Back single and I’m mingling / Spidey sense, back tingling / I do not feel bad, I gave her everything / Now it’s onto better things / I put that there on everything,” he sings on the club banger.
O.T. Genasis adds his two cents in the second verse. “She gave me the ring, I’ma take the shit / Had to cut her off, she ain’t makin’ shit,” he raps.
“Pinky Ring” is Ne-Yo’s first song to release since his Good Man album, which dropped in 2018.
