What’s better than getting a new song from the talented Elijah Blake? Listening to it while watching the accompanying visual at the same time.
The skilled singer-songwriter is embarking on a new era with the lead single called “Frenemies.”
The urban radio contender is empowered by true-to-life lyrics that address nasty experiences many people have with the wrong people who secretly envy them.
Blake drives this point home in the official video. Directed by Dez White, the video depicts how grimy these “Frenemies” can be, from stealing your man to robbing your business. Watch the video above.
At the moment, there isn’t an official name for Blake’s upcoming project. The future release, however, will serve as the follow-up to last year’s 1990 Forever with Jordin Sparks and 2018’s Bijoux 23.
Blake also released his festive EP Holiday Love last November.
