Lucky Daye has been churning out new music since his album release last year, and now the Grammy-nominated singer is back with “Ready For Love,” released exclusively on Amazon Music.
Decorated with Daye’s signature cinematic charm, the track discusses the R&B crooner’s unwillingness to settle down, unless it is with the right person.
“And I don’t wanna wonder if you’re doing side deals / I don’t trust nobody but that body keep on calling me / got me roaming through these empty streets / thinkin’ you ready for love,” Daye sings on the track.
The track, which comes to under four minutes, is an extended interlude lifted from Daye’s 2019 debut album Painted. The New Orleans native released “Fade Away” in January on The Photograph soundtrack.
