Social media sensation/singer Queen Naija is giving fans “Butterflies” all over again on her first release of 2020.
“Butterflies Pt. 2” samples Naija’s 2018 platinum song of the sample as it serves as the sequel. On the track, Naija renews the love she has for her longtime boyfriend Clarence White.
“I still get butterflies / Crazy how we vibe / Even when we fight / I still get butterflies,” Naija belts on the song’s chorus.
The Michigan native dropped “Good Morning Text” in late 2019. Both tracks are slated to appear on the follow-up to 2018’s Queen Naija.
Naija is hitting the road with Jhené Aiko for The Magic Hour Tour this summer, which kicks off in Boston on May 1.
