In celebration of the 8th anniversary of “Thinkin’ Bout You” by Frank Ocean, Def Jam signee Kaash Paige released her latest song named after him.
While the song pays homage to him, Paige sings about falling for someone when she’s used to guarding her heart. Produced by Sonic Major and Blake Slatkin, she lets her guard down a bit over the moody production.
With notable nods to the Blonde singer, she sings on the hook, “You know I think about you / But do you think about me? / Like Frank Ocean / Frank Ocean (Frank Ocean) / I know your favorite color, orange / You know my favorite color, green / Mix pills and potions / Mix pills and potions (Pills and potion).”
Paige shared that the song was inspired by the feelings Ocean has brought to music.
She released her debut project Parked Car Convos in November 2019.
