The R&B loveman’s current single “She..” marches into the number spot on the urban adult contemporary radio chart. This marks his first solo chart-topper on the airplay format.
Stokley almost went all the way to the pole position back in 2017 with “Level,” his solo debut single. The smooth tune appeared on his debut album Introducing Stokley.
During his Mint Condition stint, the former frontman of the sextet scored two number-one hits on the urban AC chart, including “What Kind of Man Would I Be” and “U Send Me Swingin’.”
“She…,” which has over 500,000 streams on Spotify, is the first single from Stokley’s upcoming album Sankofa. His sophomore effort is expected to arrive later this year via his new partnership with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis.
