Diana Gordon plunges into the recesses of her memories with her new EP Wasted Youth.
Following after her Pure EP in 2018, the Grammy-winning singer/songwriter reflects on life moments in a poignant, yet cathartically freeing way.
Gordon is no stranger to heartbreak. When discussing the EPs lyrical make up, she commented, “Most of the songs represent my phases of maturity and the types of men I was attracting at those times: from f**k boys with bad intentions that seemed good and tortured artists to intelligent, well-spoken savants. The lyrics in a few of the songs are not a journal, but more so a mood.”
While the EP covers her love life, the title was inspired a specific ex in which she feels “the time I spent with him was wasted time that I’ll never get back.”
