Kiana Ledé has a lot to celebrate. The singer-songwriter has released her debut album KIKI on her 23rd birthday, making the day extra special.
“Music is therapy. It will always be therapy for me,” Ledé shared in a statement. “I hope KIKI gives you a little entertainment while you’re stuck inside. Maybe it offers some comfort. Donate, do what you can do in your community, and stay home!”
She continued, “Jessie J once told me, ‘Be the soundtrack for the good things you do in life, especially during the bad and sh**y times’. I tried to do that by telling a true story.”
KIKI features guest appearances from fellow R&B cohorts Ari Lennox, 6LACK, Arin Ray and Lucky Daye on the previously released “Forfeit.”
Ledé’s EPs Myself and Selfless has certainly helped the Arizona-native gain much traction so her highly anticipated album will be welcomed with eager ears.
