Summer Walker finds a home for the first time in the top 10 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart, as “Playing Games” moves from 11-10 in its ninth week. This marks the singer’s fastest climb to the top 10 region on any airplay-based chart.
The London On Da Track-produced cut was issued as the first single from Walker’s gold-selling debut album, Over It.
The certified platinum single has been streamed more than 55.6 million times worldwide on Spotify. The YouTube audio and official music video featuring Bryson Tiller has a combined total of over 54 million views.
Walker is currently enjoying success across multiple charts for her latest single “Come Thru” featuring Usher. The gold hit has touched down in the top 10 on both R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Rhythmic Songs charts, respectively.
In February, Walker released a cover of Barry White’s “I’m Gonna Love You Just A Little More Baby” for the Birds of Prey: The Album soundtrack.
