Looking to spice things up while in quarantine? Well, look no further than East London crooner J-Sol who is heating things up with a steamy new jam, aptly-titled “Make Love.”
An ode to the sensual sounds of 90s R&B, “Make Love” tells a modern love story while capturing the essence of love-making music in its prime.
“Let’s make love all night / our love is bigger than a one night stand / Let’s make love all night / baby, you make me a better man,” J-Sol belts on the track.
“The inspiration behind ‘Make Love’ came from a quote I saw years ago whilst scrolling Instagram. The quote read, ‘If the love don’t feel like 90’s R&B I don’t want it,’” The X-Factor contestant said about the track.
He continues, “during the writing process, I wanted to write from a perspective of someone falling head over heels before meeting the person they’re pursuing, which I think happens a lot in this era of online dating.”
“Make Love” is J-Sol’s first single of 2020. The singer-songwriter has released a plethora of tracks over the years, most recently “OMW” and “Bullet In My Heart” in 2019.
