Emerging singer Byron Juane enlists his Reflection Music Group labelmate Danielle Apicella for his new single “Afraid.”
On the honest track, the two Juane and Apicella coo about the baggage they carry from a former relationship.
“I’m so afraid to be in love / No It’s not okay / To trust too much / Now I’m so afraid to be in love / And it’s Because of me,” Juane sings on the chorus.
Speaking on his new single, Juane explains, “Heartbreak can be a harsh result of love. It creates trust issues, hurts, and leaves painful memories. ‘Afraid’ highlights the fear of self-inflicted mistakes deriving from past relationships.”
“Afraid” is the follow up to Juane’s Aaron Cole-assisted track “M.I.A.,” which dropped on Valentine’s Day.
