Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Kay Cola has returned with her new album titled Lucid Dreams.
The 10-track LP features guest appearances from Skyzoo, Raj Will and her father Hubert Laws (Grammy-nominated jazz flutist).
Cola says the conscious album reflects her philosophy for life. “A lot of the records are about love or the challenges or hardships that we go through as human beings,” she says.
She continues, “So we have to learn how to be alchemists and change the outcomes of our lives because things are always going to be thrown at you and that’s kinda how that relates to that.”
Lucid Dreams is the follow-up to Cola’s 2016 album Lucy.
Aside from music, Cola is also the CEO of OrganiGrowHairCo and OrganiGlowSkinCo.
