As her new single “Anything For You” continues to pick up steam on the urban adult contemporary radio chart, Ledisi releases an acoustic quarantine version.
The intimate at-home performance begins with guitarist Curt Chambers seated in a studio space. He asks the famed vocalist if she’s ready. We’re assuming he meant ready to blow us away.
Stationed in a tiny closet-style booth, Ledisi delivered an astounding rendition of the first single from her Wild Card album. She didn’t do it alone, though. Two background singers joined her virtually as she got to the chorus, blending their smothering harmonies with her amazing vocals.
Ledisi’s Wild Card album is set to arrive this August via Listen Back/BMG. The album will mark her first full-length release since 2017’s Grammy-nominated LP Let Love Rule.
