Jacquees has earned his first certified gold album. According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), his debut album 4275 has sold more than 500,000 equivalent album units. This feat is the R&B superstar’s first RIAA certification of the year.
Released June 2018, the star-studded album peaked at No. 35 on the Billboard 200 and No. 3 on the Top R&B Albums chart. The LP featured the bass-heavy single “B.E.D.,” which reached platinum status in February 2018.
Since the arrival of 4275, Jacquees has released additional projects. He put out his sophomore album King of R&B, as well as a holiday album in 2019. He also launched his own signature fragrance in partnership with Whiff, Inc.
Jacquees has been on his feature hustle this year. He teamed up with Lil Duval and Tank for “Nasty” and Angelica Vila for “Why.”
The R&B heartthrob recently shot a music video for his next collaboration “Put in Work” with Chris Brown. The song should be dropping any day now.
