Dinner Party — a new supergroup comprised of Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper, 9th Wonder and Kamasi Washington — has invited music enthusiasts to their musical home for their impressive eponymous debut album.
Across 23 minutes, the fine quartet, with vocal support from multifaceted artist Phoelix and Washington, pass around delectable helpings of soul-jazz and new takes on loving relationships (“Love You Bad”) and social injustices (“Freeze Tag”).
