Corey Latif and Aalias, better known as Lo Boii, are hoping for one more chance with love on their new single “Maybe.”
From the get-go, the electro-funk led instrumental puts you in a nostalgic state of mind. The lyricism behind the track is aimed at a fed-up female lover whose heart has played with far too many times. Now, she is calling the shots and pulling the heartstrings, with late-night text or call activity on pause. Lo Boii wants a chance to explain their actions before the door on their respective relationships are shut for good.
“Maybe” follows Lo Boii’s previously shared 2020 track “Save Us,” as well as their recent “Time 2.0” teamwork with Whole Doubts. The former two songs are not yet attached to a particular project.
Sex Doesn’t Sell…. Anymore, the debut offering by Lo Boii, was released last year July.
