After releasing his debut EP Admissions in 2019, NBDY returns with Admissions (The Acoustics).
In a statement to Rated R&B, he explained that he hopes the EP can bring some sort of healing to those who are going through hard times.
“I’m starting off 2021 redeeming my demons with Admissions (The Acoustics), this time giving fans of the original EP an intimate version,” NBDY explained. “Accompanied on guitar by my twin Robeau, I’m giving pure full-bodied electrifying vocals that will pull listeners to the edge of their chair.”
The original version of Admissions was released under Arista Records. However, the lowkey singer has left the label since then. “I experienced more loss than I could’ve imagined in 2020, so this project is revealing my pain and growth through it all,” said NBDY. “Admissions (The Acoustics) will be my first official independent release since parting with Sony in 2020. I hope this project brings listeners the healing it brought me.”
