Jahkoy is putting “Exes & Summer Flings” behind him to cuff a real one in the official video for his new Fabolous-assisted track.
Fab, bundled in winter gear outside of a Rolls-Royce, opens the video by hitting Jahkoy’s line about stepping out for the night. The Toronto native responds from his bed occupied by a female companion. She isn’t exciting him as much as the promising love interest now flooding his inbox with photos and cute emojis.
Jahkoy proves he’s a part of the pull-up gang, making a midnight drive in the white Lambo to the girl he almost let slip away because of meaningless situations.
“This song is special to me,” shared Jahkoy in a press statement. “Just under a decade ago I opened up for Fabolous in my hometown Toronto. Fast forward, here we are, against all odds, in 2021, and we got one of the hottest records of the year!”
“Exes & Summer Flings” follows last year’s blazing single “Firefighter.” Both songs will appear on his upcoming project, Tangible, due this spring. Ella Mai and Fabolous are tapped for the pending project and follow up to 2019’s 404.
