All eyes were on Jazmine Sullivan on Sunday night when she performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” with country singer Eric Church at Super Bowl LV in Tampa, Florida.
Together, Sullivan and Church delivered a chilling rendition of the national anthem with a blues-meets-country take.
Sullivan released her critically-acclaimed project, Heaux Tales, in January. The solid body of work features guest appearances from H.E.R., Ari Lennox and Anderson .Paak. The project debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s R&B Albums chart with 43,000 equivalent units sold in the first week.
In other news, Sullivan is nominated for Oustanding Female Artist at the 52nd NAACP Image Awards. The prestigious event will air live on Saturday, March 27 at 8 p.m. ET on BET.
