It’s been a big week for H.E.R. Following her first-ever Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song (“Fight For You“), the 23-year-old made a grand appearance at the Super Bowl on Sunday night.
With her signature electric guitar, the Grammy-winning singer/songwriter performed an exquisite rendition of “America the Beautiful” at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
H.E.R. is expected to release her highly-anticipated debut album later this year. “I do have my album coming out soon, which is definitely a piece of me and a big story that has been a part of my life for the past few years,” she told Zane Lowe in an interview. “It represents this different perspective and kind of who I am as a woman now.”
