H.E.R. and Chris Brown have united once again for a new track titled “Come Through,” which they co-wrote with Tiara Thomas and Cardiak.
On the inviting track, produced by Cardiak, H.E.R. finds herself wanting company from her boo thang after having a rough day.
“Almost missed my flight today / I look good, even though I feel shitty / I just got back out this way,” H.E.R. sings in the first verse, before singing on the chorus, “But you should come through tonight.”
Brown responds in the next verse, “Lookin’ at you cry, go crazy / If I could, I would takе the pain away / I don’t see that smile I made.”
H.E.R. and Brown previously collaborated on “Slide (Remix)” and “Come Together.” The latter track appears on Brown’s Indigo album, which was released in summer 2019.
Speaking of albums, fans have been patiently waiting for H.E.R.’s debut album, Back of My Mind. The good news is it’s slated to arrive sometime this year via MBK Entertainment/RCA Records.
