R&B everyman Lamone has found the missing link in his life on his new single “You Complete Me,” featuring acclaimed saxophonist and flutist Najee.
This new song marks another blossoming chapter in Lamone and Najee’s musical partnership, having toured the world and recorded songs together, such as Najee’s buttery track “Fallin’ in Love,” from his 2005 album My Point Of View.
“You Complete Me” collides the sounds of soul and jazz, creating an ode to the woman who has stolen Lamone’s heart. It details how this heaven-sent woman came into his life and gave him a new sense of purpose and fulfillment.
Lamone’s new song is the latest offering from his upcoming album, IAmLamone, set to arrive later this year. The album will include previously released singles “Girl You Need a Change” and “Born To Be A King.”
Lamone’s last album Smooth was released in 2016, featuring the single “Nightlife.”
