Montreal-based artist Myles Lloyd lets the world know his time is now on his latest track “Down Under.”
Over a hard-hitting, yet soulful beat that’s filled with guitar strums and 808 drums, Lloyd sings about how he wants to rise above being underground and demanding his respect as a musician. “I had enough of being patient and had to start coming for what is mine,” Lloyd shared in a statement.
“Down Under” is Lloyd’s fourth release of the year. It follows “Counting Days,” “Monster,” and “Running On You,” effectively ending an almost two-year hiatus. He released the accompanying visuals to the last two shortly before this in May and June.
He released his debut album, Goodbye, in September 2019.
