With the temperature continuing to drop, finding someplace warm to snuggle up never felt more necessary than before. That’s where Adam Ness’ latest project Sagittarius, Vol. 2 comes in.
The sequel to his 2019 project runs 45 minutes, containing 12 songs that draw upon the same vibrant melodies and richly organic instrumentations of those who spearheaded or benefitted from the neo-soul movement.
The set’s redolent first single, “Houzkatz,” co-stars Durand Bernarr and is sensually layered notes forged from the deep fiber of their beings.
On “Don’t Call Back,” Ness is seriously considering putting a dishonest, thrifty ex’s number on his blocked contacts list following the exposure of his tall tales. Its bridge is gag-worthy, to say the least.
With “Run Me Away (10k),” Ness invested his energy into an already-booed-up guy, requesting for his wasted time to be compensated. His starting fee is ten bands, and the services vary.
“Dallas” is a lit anthem where the scene is ovah, the brown is flowing, and bud is getting passed around amongst his clique.
If you’re not already on Ness’ bandwagon, Sagittarius, Vol. 2 is sure to be the project to have you jumping on it.
