After pausing his Aura Tour for unknown reasons, Elhae has made it up to his fans with a new song called “FOMO.”
Elhae’s melodic vocals are stitched into a groovy blanket of drums, piano playing and electric guitar strums courtesy of Ayo the Producer. Elhae is seemingly singing about being on the fence about a girl he’s brought into his world of luxury after snatching her up from her last man.
“But I’ve been thinkin’ different ’bout it / I’m pullin’ up, I’m peelin’ out / I got a fear of missin’ out / I might just take a different route, yeah, yeah / But I’ve been thinkin’ different ’bout you / After all this time we’ve been around,” he sings.
“FOMO” is the first solo offering from Elhae since the release of Aura III, the third installment of his EP series. Masego, Xavier Omär, and Rick Ross appeared on the 11-track EP.
His last project Trouble in Paradise arrived in 2019.
In other news, Elhae is set to take the BET Amplified Stage at this year’s Soul Train Awards. The show airs on Sunday, November 28, at 8 p.m. EST.
