The time has finally come. After a few singles, Amber Mark has finally released her debut album, Three Dimensions Deep, and it was worth the wait.
Not stretching herself too thin, Mark shows what it means to create a broad-ranging yet cohesive body of work.
Three Dimensions Deep kicked off “One,” a soulful number where Mark sings about the insecurities and anxieties she’s been facing trying to measure up to the standards she has set for herself.
On the somber mid-tempo “Healing Hurts,” Mark sings about dealing with the pain of processing a breakup. She finishes the album with “Event Horizon,” which has a flowing production colored with marveling harmonies and instruments like those of ballads.
The LP includes previously released tracks, such as “What It Is,” “Foreign Things, and the most recent, “Softly.” All except the first one have accompanying visuals.
Mark will embark on a tour in support of the album beginning March 5, in Paris and will run through May 20. Tickets are available for purchase through Mark’s official website.
