Alex Vaughn’s future in music looks bright, especially with a co-sign from LRVN labelmate Summer Walker.
At Atlanta’s Coca-Cola Roxy, the Maryland native warmed the stage for this year’s Billboard Women in Music Chartbreaker recipient.
Vaughn closed her set for the sold-out crowd with her debut single “Mirage.”
Knowing exactly how to command a packed house and leave them wanting more, Vaughn, styled in a simple black dress, gave the audience a reason to subscribe to her profile on their preferred streaming platforms.
Vaughn’s call-and-response section of the performance is why she is destined for near greatness, gaining the immediate love and support of the audience who were in perfect harmony with each other.

“THANK U @summerwalker for having me & THANK U ATL for embracing me. Words can’t describe how thankful I am for this opportunity and how much of a taste it put on my tongue for what’s to come,” Vaughn wrote in a lengthy Instagram post.
“Mirage,” which was inspired by a situationship Vaughn was involved in, was the song that got signed to LVRN, home to Walker, 6LACK, Shelley FKA DRAM, and Eli Derby, to name a few.
She said, “It’s wild to know that my most vulnerable moments [are] what really make people really connect. [To be honest], I would’ve never called this one but I’m so happy we’re here. Don’t hoard your ideas! Share them [with] the world!”
On Sunday, May 8, Vaughn will perform at the 2022 Broccoli City Festival in Washington, D.C.
