Some people look at someone else’s success without considering the battles and strides they had to take to get there. In the accompanying video to her current single “P.O.V.” featuring QUEEN, Serayah gives us a behind-the-scenes look into her journey up until this point in her life.
Directed by MdotforMayor, the video begins with Serayah returning to her childhood home and reviewing a family album.
While viewing the photos, Serayah is riddled in flashbacks, from her mother struggling to take care of her, her teenage years, and her journey into music.

“P.O.V.” featuring Queen marks Serayah’s return to music after a brief hiatus following her 2020 track, “Miss You.”
Both may appear on her upcoming untitled project, which currently doesn’t have a known release date. This could be due to her indulging in other forms of entertainment, such as her in-demand acting career.
Serayah reoccurs as Lori in the Starz crime drama BMF. She also landed the role of Rbel in the BET+ gospel drama series Kingdom Business, which also stars Yolanda Adams and Tamar Braxton.
