Brownstone is back. The legendary R&B group — with founding member Nicci Gilbert, Teisha Brown and new member Arin Jackson — has released their new song, “All I Want.” It’s their first proper single in over 25 years.

The mid-tempo track, produced by Marcus Devine, is about reassuring an insecure partner that they are your one and only focus.

They sing in the chorus, “All I want is you / Don’t want nobody else but you / All I want is you / For me, no one else will do.”

“All I Want” is the lead single from Brownstone’s long-awaited third album, Back Again.

It will follow their 1997 sophomore LP, Still Climbing, which included the hit single “5 Miles To Empty.”

The song peaked at No. 39 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 6 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles chart (now known as the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart).

Still Climbing featured writing and production credits from Rodney Jerkins, Dave Hall, Soulshock & Karlin, Tricky Stewart, Shawn Stockman and Robin Thicke, to name a few.

In 1995, Brownstone released their debut album, From the Bottom Up. The platinum-selling album spawned the group’s hit single “If You Love Me,” which peaked at No. 8 on the Hot 100.

The Dave Hall-produced cut earned Brownstone a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. Additionally, the won Top Hot R&B Singles Airplay at the 1995 Billboard Music Awards.

Both From the Bottom Up and Still Climbing were released on the King of Pop Michael Jackson’s imprint MJJ Music.

Circling back to their new music, Brownstone also shared an uplifting song called “I’m Not Giving Up.”

Gilbert said she dedicated the empowering track to founding Brownstone member Maxee Maxwell, who tragically passed away in 2015.

“The song is a record I first heard a few years after Maxee died. I felt like she wanted me to record this song because she knew I was on the verge of giving up on music,” Gilbert wrote in an Instagram caption.

“It’s beautiful how when you quiet the noise and center your mind, how your spirit can change your heart.”

“I’m Not Giving Up” will also appear on Back Again.
