Vivian Green is bringing holiday cheer this season with her new EP, Spread the Love, via Make Noise Recordings/SoNo Recording Group.
The five-song project includes the lead single, “Spread The Love (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza),” written by Green and produced by Kwamé.
The festive tune was inspired by the BET+ original film, Holiday Hideaway.

“While I didn’t grow up celebrating Christmas, I’ve always loved the euphoric melodies and freedoms in the song structure of holiday music. I am a songwriter and that means I essentially should be able to write about anything. When writing ‘Spread the Love,’ I was intentional about including the three cultural holidays of the season because it hasn’t been done enough,” says Green.
“There’s something beautiful about acknowledging different cultures in one space. I truly enjoyed assisting in helping to energize someone else’s story in the film Holiday Hideaway, and as a bonus, I’m excited to release this EP.”
Spread the Love also includes three other original tracks — “Around the Tree (Missing You),” “Everybody’s Gathered” and “No Holiday” — plus Green’s rendition of the classic “O Holy Night.”
Spread the Love is Green’s first project since her 2020 album, Love Absolute. The album included the singles “Where You Are” and “Light Up” featuring Ghostface Killa.
