Day26’s 2014 EP, The Return, has been made available on streaming services for the first time.
The eight-track project features Baby Bash and the singles “Bulls**t” and “Lose Control,” a cover of Silk’s 1992 classic.
“I’m so glad this project is about to be heard finally. Even though this was years ago it sounds fresh and new. Congratulations bros I couldn’t be prouder of being a part of @officialday26,” Robert Curry of Day26 wrote in an Instagram caption.
The Return was the follow-up to Day26’s sophomore album, Forever In A Day, released in 2009.

Nine years later, in 2018, Day26 reemerged with their EP titled A New Day. The project, which reached No. 1 on iTunes’ R&B Albums chart, didn’t feature member Brian Angel since he had departed from the group.
“It saddens me to announce I am no longer part of Day26. No there’s no problem amongst us, no anger or anything to that nature. This was a decision that I made solely myself,” Angel said in a past statement.
Last year, Day26 announced that they had reunited and teased that new music was coming. On Aug. 26, 2022, they hosted a virtual concert featuring all five original members.
They later joined The Millennium Tour: Turned Up, which also included acts such as Mario, Keri Hilson, Bow Wow, Lloyd, Bobby V, Pleasure P, Sammie and more.

The Return should tide over fans until Day26 is ready to release new music.
Looking ahead, Day26’s self-titled debut album will turn 15 this year.
Released on March 24, 2008, Day26 debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 190,000 copies sold in the first week. It also opened at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
The album included the lead single “Got Me Going” and the follow-up, “Since You’ve Been Gone.” Of the two tracks, “Got Me Going” appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at No. 79. It spent three weeks on the popular singles chart.
Day26 included production by Bryan-Michael Cox, Adonis Shropshire, Mario Winans, Danja, Kwamé, Malay and more.
