Vocal powerhouse Keke Wyatt has announced her new record deal with Shanachie Entertainment. She joins a roster that includes R&B veterans such as Calvin Richardson and Rahsaan Patterson.
“I really feel good about signing with Shanachie!” says Wyatt. “I’m excited and finally ready. I feel like this time we will create magic together and make HISTORY!”
As part of her new deal, Wyatt has started working on her first album in six years. She says fans can expect “some good ole sanging.”
“I want to give my fans the gift of love, hope and trust with my new music,” shares Wyatt. “However, don’t get it twisted because I’m singing about it all. I think everyone will be able to relate to this album.”

Shanachie’s General Manager Randall Grass adds, “At a time when great singers are in short supply, Keke continually displays what real singing is all about. Her range, power and intensely felt vocals connect with her audiences on the deepest level. We loved working with her before and are very excited to work with her now to make an epic new album.”
Wyatt’s forthcoming album will follow 2017’s Keke Covers, a compilation of her renditions of modern and classic songs such as Beyoncé’s “Love On Top” and Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On.”
The project also featured covers of Rihanna’s “Diamonds,” Jeremih’s “Oui” and Rose Royce’s “I’m Goin’ Down.” Wyatt last released an original album in 2016 (Rated Love).
Wyatt’s new deal with Shanachie isn’t her first time with the record label. She released 2010’s Who Knew? and 2011’s Unbelievable under the New Jersey-based company.
Her gold-selling debut album, Soul Sista, was released on MCA Records. It included Wyatt’s hit “Nothing in This World” with Avant. It peaked at No. 27 on the Billboard Hot 100 in March 2002.
In other news, Wyatt recently gave birth to her 11th child.
