R&B newcomer Naomi Sharon has signed to OVO Sound, the label co-founded by Drake, Noah “40” Shebib and Oliver El-Khatib.
She is the label’s first woman signee, joining a roster that includes dvsn, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Majid Jordan and more.
“@naomisharon I been waiting for this day for too long now where the world finally gets to digest the insane amount of work you have put in since we met,” Drake wrote in an Instagram caption.

With her new label announcement, Sharon has released two new songs, “Another Life” and “Celestial.”
She co-wrote the thought-invoking “Another Life” with Leroy Loefstop. The song builds from its tranquil, lo-fi introduction to an up-tempo beat of drums in the background.
Sharon’s powerful voice captivates as she sings about the deep pain of heartbreak and embracing what waits for her beyond that.
“Love is a wicked game / But still we play it, still we play it / In another life / I’ll kiss the days goodbye / And I’ll carry on / There’s more on the other side,” she sings.
“Celestial,” co-produced by Shebib and Beau Nox, is a uniquely soothing track in which Sharon sings to her partner about seeing them for who they are and loving them through it all.
Along with these new tracks, Sharon shared a video for “Another Life,” directed by Yavez Anthonio.
In it, Sharon sits alone in a diner, exchanging texts with her partner, and confronting him about what he has done.
Then, she walks through the city until she comes upon another version of herself. The two experience an interweaving of souls.
“Another Life” and “Celestial” are the first releases from Sharon since she released “Hills” and “Daughter Of The Sun” in 2021.
