SZA’s reign just won’t let up. The Grammy-winning singer’s sophomore album, SOS, spends its fifth consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart this week.

SOS sold 125,000 equivalent units in the week ending Jan. 12, according to Billboard. The publication also reports SOS is the first album to spend five straight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 since Adele’s 2021 album, 30.

It’s been nearly 30 years since an R&B album by a solo woman act has spent its first five weeks atop the chart. Janet Jackson’s fifth album, janet., remained at the top of the summit from June 5-July 10, 1993, Billboard further reports.

SZA went to Twitter to express gratitude for her latest achievement. “5th week at number one . God is good . F*ck who disagree! Focus on yourself believe in yourself TRUST YOURSELF. GRATEFUL,” she tweeted.

Elsewhere on the Billboard charts, “Kill Bill,” the current focus track from SOS, moves from No. 3 to No. 2 this week on the Hot 100.

With SZA eyeing the No. 1 spot, she recently released a four-track bundle for “Kill Bill.” The bundle includes the original version of “Kill Bill,” a sped-up version, an instrumental and acapella.

Additionally, SZA premiered a cinematic visual for “Kill Bill,” which includes a cameo from actress Vivica A. Fox, who co-starred in the 2003 film Kill Bill: Vol. 1.

On Feb. 21, SZA will launch her headlining SOS North American Tour at Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio.

From there, SZA will play in major cities such as Chicago, Detroit, Washington, D.C., New York and Dallas. The tour concludes March 22 in Los Angeles, California.

SOS was released Dec. 9, 2022, via Top Dawg Entertainment/RCA Records. The 23-track album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 318,000 equivalent units sold in the first week. It marked SZA’s first chart-topper on the Billboard 200.
