Zae France knows when his partner is bluffing.
On his new song “Give It Up,” produced by Remo the Hitmaker, France calls out his girl’s inconsistent behavioral patterns. Specifically, he knows whenever there’s friction, it always leads to them being in bed together. Instead of playing into the antics, he’d rather spend more time exploring each other’s bodies.
“Just last night, you said you was done with me / Now it’s ten minutеs ’til you come over / You were just sayin’ that it’s a dub / Now I got your legs over my shoulders,” France sings over a silky production.

Speaking on “Give It Up,” France tells Rated R&B, “Funny thing about it, I was on the hunt for an uptempo track one night in LA and it just wasn’t flowing the way I wanted it to. I ended up cutting ‘What It Do‘ that night then started thinking about this girl that I was on and off with— she was claiming that she was done with me, but we all know how those situations be. The idea for the song came first and then we ended up with ‘Give It Up.’ We left that night with two special joints.”
“Give It Up” is the follow-up to France’s song “What It Do” featuring Fridayy. Both songs will appear on his upcoming project, Rhythm n Backwoods Szn II, set to arrive this year on Compound Entertainment/Def Jam Recordings.
Rhythm n Backwoods Szn II is the sequel to France’s 2019 project. The 14-track offering included popular tunes songs such as “ThisVibeAintForEverybody” and “Done Up” featuring MizzyLott. The former song has 3.1 million streams on Spotify, while “Done Up” has 1.3 million streams.
Following Rhythm n Backwoods, France released Pretty Girls NVR Listen in 2021, which featured his most popular song, “Comfort Zone.”
