Rising singer Tyla is set to release her self-titled debut album on March 22, 2024, via Epic Records.

Regarding the album’s title, she told Zane Lowe of Apple Music, “For now, my introduction to the world, I just wanted to be clean, Tyla. I want people to get to know my name and get to know my sound because my first project is going to be Tyla in music form. So, I felt like self-titled would’ve been the best way to go.”

Before the South African artist drops her highly awaited project, she offers fans a five-track bundle to tide them over.

It includes her Grammy-nominated single “Water,” which is currently No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 1 for a fourth week on the R&B Digital Song Sales chart. Tyla’s recently shared “Water (Remix)” with Travis Scott is also included in the bundle.

Among the new tracks is “On and On,” a silky bop that hears Tyla singing about having a joyous time at a function and not wanting to leave any time soon.

“I’m not going home / ‘Cause I swear the DJ’s playing all of these songs for me / You gotta drag me off the floor / Ohhh / ‘Cause that’s the only way you’ll get me to leave,” she sings.

On “Truth or Dare,” Tyla confronts an inconsistent love interest who only shows up when it’s convenient for them. In this case, they see Tyla growing into stardom and want to rekindle an old flame.

“Would you still want me if I didn’t have it all? / You could’ve had it with me but instead you gave it up / Tell me, when’s it gonna get through to you? / Everybody needs somebody, but I can’t be a fool,” Tyla sings.

And then there’s “Butterflies,” an acoustic kiss-off where Tyla declares the end of a relationship.

“You give me butterflies / Got me falling in the deep end of your disguise / Sparred with a hundred lies / So I fear this might be my goodbye,” she sings over a fluttering guitar strums.

Circling back to “Water,” the song is up for Best African Music Performance at the 66th Grammy Awards. Music’s Biggest Night will air live Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

Presave Tyla and listen to her three new songs, plus “Water” below.
