Rising singer Kyle Dion has returned with his new single “Hang Me Out to Dry,” which he co-wrote and co-produced with Michael “Miko” Simard and Soran Dussainge.
On the somber track, Dion finds himself emotionally drained from dealing with unrequited love.
“You hang me out to dry / Like I don’t mean nothing to you / Put me on the line / After all that we’ve been through,” he sings in the chorus.
“Hang Me Out to Dry” is the latest offering from Dion’s upcoming EP, If My Jeans Could Talk, out Jan. 19.
The denim-inspired project will also include his previous singles “Boyfriend Jeans” and “Let’s Get It On.”
If My Jeans Could Talk will follow Dion’s 2021 sophomore album, SASSY. In July 2022, the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, native released a deluxe edition of SASSY, which included four additional tracks.
“With this EP I’m a bit more vulnerable, a bit more real, and a bit more carefree,” says Dion. “I didn’t worry if anyone would like it, but instead focused on how it made me feel, and how I love it and how I wanted to create it for myself, for Kyle. But, I feel this is a project to give to my fans to let them know that I am back and here is an appetizer before my 3rd album.”
On Feb. 21, Dion will launch his If My Jeans Could Talk Pop-Up Tour at Echoplex in Los Angeles, California.
From there, he will play in New York, Paris and London. Tickets are available on Dion’s official website.
