Babyface is returning to Las Vegas. The music icon has announced six shows at Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort.
The shows kick off Memorial Day Weekend (May 25 and May 26), with additional performances on Labor Day weekend and two in November.
Babyface announced his Las Vegas shows on his birthday (April 10) via social media. “I have recently been saying that listening to music or going to an old school concert is like time traveling,” he shared. “You know, it’s like hearing a certain song that takes you right back to the house where you grew up and your mom was Spring cleaning singing every word. It’s like smelling a certain dish and you’re sitting right back in your mom’s kitchen.”
He concluded, “With that being said, I would like to invite you all to Vegas to walk down memory lane with me and time travel together.”
Tickets for Babyface’s shows at Pearl Concert Theater are on sale now.
Last fall, Babyface performed a sold-out concert at the Palms Casino Resort, which included cameos from his brother Kevon Edmonds, Chanté Moore, and Tank. The latter two singers also joined Babyface for his Tiny Desk Concert last June.
“Babyface’s sold-out show at the Palms Hotel was a testament to his enduring legacy and the timeless appeal of his music,” said Babyface’s manager Michael Paran, founder and CEO of P Music Group. “His unrivaled talent, combined with the incredible performances of his special guests, created a night that will be remembered by fans for years to come.”
Vegas isn’t Babyface’s only destination this year. This summer, he will perform at Roots Picnic in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Capital Jazz Fest in Columbia, Maryland, and Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay, Jamaica, to name a few.
