The Capital Jazz Fest 2024 lineup has been revealed. The 31st annual event returns to Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, from June 7 to June 9.
The Friday Night Soul concert, hosted by Laiya St. Clair, will feature performances by Anthony Hamilton, Chrisette Michele, and Teedra Moses. The show will run from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Lalah Hathaway and Gregory Porter are among the acts that will grace the Pavilion Stage on Saturday. Babyface, El DeBarge, Kindred the Family Soul and others will perform on the Symphony Woods Stage.
Sunday’s show will feature Kem, India.Arie, Leela James and others on the Pavilion Stage. Jodeci, Raheem DeVaughn, Jon B. and more will take the Symphony Woods Stage.
Both shows on the weekend will run from noon to 10 p.m.
Tickets are on sale now. Festivalgoers can buy one-day or three-day passes. General admission for Friday Night Soul starts at $85.50, while Saturday and Sunday starts at $112.50. General admission for the three-day pass starts at $309.
Last year’s Capital Jazz Fest included performances by Robert Glasper, Marsha Ambrosius, Donell Jones, Teedra Moses, Dianne Reeves, Moonchild and many more.
