Rising R&B group WanMor is back with their new single “Alone With You” via Mary J. Blige’s Beautiful Life Productions and 300 Entertainment.
The smooth jam is a faithful cover of Tevin Campbell’s 1991 classic from his debut album, T.E.V.I.N.
WanMor’s version of the Al B. Sure! and Kyle West-penned track was co-produced by Blige, 3rdSiderBeatz, Aidan Brody, Angelo “Doc” Velasquez, Pat Kelly and Will Campbell. (Al B. Sure! produced the original version.)
Blige teased the cover in an Instagram post on Valentine’s Day. It received a stamp of approval from Tevin Campbell (“SAING!!!”) Al B. Sure! (“great job fellaz!”) in the comments. Al B. Sure added, “‘Alone With You’ was actually the 1st song I wrote and produced with Kyle West for Tevin Campbell’s debut album T.E.V.I.N. On @QuincyJones’s Qwest Record Label.”
He continued, “When we finished Tevin, @davejamhall & I did The ‘Many Ways’ to say I Love You for @Usher Raymond which was Pt2 or [sic] the song; and Pt3 was ‘Right Now’ by @OfficialAlBSure. KCi, JoJo & Al B. Sure! are singing backgrounds on all 3 versions. Sharing the journey of the music. Good luck gentlemen. The OG @OfficialAlBSure!”

“Alone With You” is WanMor’s second song release of 2024. In early February, they released “Baby.” The emerging group capped 2023 with a satisfying rendition of Boyz II Men’s “Please Don’t Go,” produced by Blige.
Last spring, WanMor released their self-titled debut EP, which included standouts like “Must Be Love” and “Mine.”
Although WanMor hasn’t announced a follow-up project yet, their consistent track record of solid releases continues to heighten anticipation for what’s next.
